Built for the handling, stacking, temperature swings and long shipping routes that lubricant supply chains put a pack through.

Verus has released a new 20-litre pack for the Bellator passenger car motor oil range, designed for what happens to a pack between the blending plant and the workshop bench. Industrial lubricant supply chains are hard on packaging; product is palletised, strapped, craned, stored outdoors, moved between climates and sometimes weeks in transit before it reaches a shelf. The new pack is built to arrive intact and still look worth buying.

Twenty litres is the working unit of the trade. It is small enough to lift and decant without a pump trolley, and large enough that a busy workshop is not opening a fresh pack every second service. Below it, small bottles get expensive per litre for volume servicing. Above it, a 205-litre drum ties up more oil than most sites turn over. That makes 20 litres the format that carries the most commercial weight in the range, and the one that has to be right.

The pack carries the Verus design identity through to the shelf: clean Italian styling, clear grade identification and specification information where a technician actually looks for it. Bellator is a professional-grade range sold into workshops, fleet servicing operations, dealer service centres and retail counters, and packaging is the first quality signal most buyers get. It should read as premium as the oil inside it.

Bellator is the Verus passenger car motor oil range, covering ultra-low viscosity full synthetics through to mineral multigrades. The 20-litre format spans the range, from Bellator X 0W-20 C5/C6 and 0W-30 C2 through the mid-SAPS 5W-30 grades to the Bellator V synthetic technology tier. One range, two price tiers, one technical support line.

Verus is Chematek's lubricants brand. Chematek designs and builds refineries and formulates industrial chemicals, which means Verus formulations are specified by people who understand the oil from the base stock up rather than from the label down. No other lubricant brand of this size can say that. Behind the brand sits Chematek's global procurement and logistics network, which is what makes a consistent pack in multiple markets a realistic proposition rather than an ambition.

For distributors, the new pack is a straightforward commercial asset. It looks the part on shelf next to the majors, it performs to specification, and it lands in the format that moves volume. For co-brand partners, the same pack is available under their own label through the Verus co-brand program.

Verus has a growing customer base across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, built on Chematek's distribution infrastructure and its technical credibility in lubricant chemistry. Distributors interested in the Bellator range can contact the team to discuss supply, pricing and technical specifications.
